Do as I say, not as I do.  That’s my fashion style.  I love to leaf through fashion mags (what-what, In Style and Lucky), window-shop, web-surf (holla at Man Repeller, for she is awesome)  But I dress like a schizophrenic 5-year old with a Forever 21 accessories fetish.  I’m also addicted to TeeFury, and my collection of geek (think Game of Thrones, The Stand, Firefly and Harry Potter) t-shirts is…well.  I know, I”m amazing.

So, when I saw a tweet about the new Hunger Games site, Capitol Couture, I jumped on that bad boy.  Mostly because I am really psyched for the HG-themed nail polish and figured I’d get a heads-up on any special goodness.  However, Capitol Couture isn’t a PR site, it’s more of a Panem mythology spin-off, with interviews with Effie, “sightings” of Tributes, tons of Panem gossip, and “Stylists Wanted” ads (which I’m sure will be interactive soon, which should be a lot of fun).

There are some tips of the hat to the real world, with a nod to photographer Craig McDean, and fashions by Alexander McQueen and Mugler.  There’s also a bit about my current nail polish obsessions (sorry, Disco Biscuit; you’ll always have my heart.)

This site is linked to the larger The Capitol site, which makes it look like the Hunger Games is gonna roll out some more pretty cool stuff before the film opens.
