GIVEAWAY: two tickets to Codebreaker at AMC Georgetown!

Layout 1 (Page 1)

Free movies.  Who doesn’t love that?  Well, movie haters.  But who cares about them?  I’ve been asked to give away a pair of tickets (courtesy of the groovy & generous folks at Harrington Park Press) to a very limited engagement of Codebreaker, a docu-drama about the man who turned the tide of WWII…only to be persecuted for his homosexuality by his country.  Here’s the synopsis:

Hero. Genius. Outcast. Alan Turing was a brilliant mathematician whose codebreaking skills helped Great Britain decipher the naval enigma code and turn the tide of World War II. For his pioneering work in developing the first algorithms and early computing functions, he is widely regarded as the father of computer science and artificial intelligence. But instead of being honored by his country, he was persecuted for his honesty, and prosecuted for being gay. This is the heartfelt and inspiring story of Turing’s life and his legacy.  http://www.turingfilm.com/

When I say limited engagement, I mean one night only y’all.  Tickets are on sale through Fandango.com, but how about a free pair?  Thought so.

How?  Just send me an e-mail at denise@atomicfangirl.com with the subject title CODEBREAKER.  I’ll pick an e-mail at random (which means I’ll grab my dusty D&D dice and pick whatever number rolls up.)

Here’s the when & where:

Washington, DC – One Night Only

Thursday, December 6, 7:30 PM

AMC Loews Georgetown 14

3111 K St NW, Washington, DC 20007

Oh, one final thing; if you nab the pair of tickets, you’ve got a guaranteed in.  But seating once inside the theater is first-come/first-served, so make sure to get there early enough to grab a decent seat for you and your Significant Movie Other.

So gimme an e-mail, and good luck!
