Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012: and ther winners are….

Well, it’s not as drunked up as the Golden Globes.  It doesn’t have quite the cachet of the Acacemy Awards (yet).  But for actors, the Screen Actors Guild Awards are a way of patting the best of the year on the back.  Plus, you get to take a naked man home.  Score!

I’m loving that Jessica Lange won for her role as Constance, the schizo neighbor from hell.  And to everyone who thinks that The Help shouldn’t get the press that it does?  Suck it.  (ZOMG, a film about racism in the 60s has…wait for it…racist characters!  And African-American characters that were scared of doing the right thing!  That was life back then, and this film shows it, warts & all.)  BRAVO to the entire cast, and especially winners Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer!  I’m also glad to see Jean Dujardin score a win for his brilliant work in The Artist.

Here’s the winners from last night, read more after the jump (hey, it’s a long list y’all.  Just keeping things tidy.)
