Baltimore Screening Pass-palooza: “Get Out”!

get-out-posterI’ve seen this trailer, and it looks very creepy (in a good way.)  That, and it’s been getting all sorts of good buzz at film fests…so let’s Get Out, shall we?  Synopsis!

A young black man visits his white girlfriend’s diverse family estate only to learn that many of its black residents have gone missing, and the horrible truth when another frantic African-American warns him to “get out.” It becomes clear that this is easier said than done.

Ready to see what’s really going on on that estate?  Well, right this way…

What: Passes for the Baltimore area screening of Get Out!

When: Tuesday, February 21st

Where: Cinemark Egyptian

Why: Because those who don’t remember Eddie Murphy’s “Haunted Houses” skit are doomed to repeat it. (NOTE: that vid is NSFW.  Language!  But it’s awesome, so watch it at home.)

How: List time!  So you know what to do; send an email to editor@atomicfangirl.com with the subject line “TOO BAD WE CAN’T STAY, BABY”.  Make sure you put your name in the body of the e-mail…otherwise I can’t add your name to the list.  Savvy?  Well then, what are you waiting for?  YOU HAVE UNTIL NOON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd TO ENTER.

REMEMBER: seating for screenings are first come, first served and not guaranteed.  So get there early to get yourself a seat.

Good luck, everybody!

Not a fan of this method of getting passes. Just open it up and see how many you get. If I want a contest, I’ll phone the radio station.

Unfortunately, I’m never the only one giving away passes for screenings. Sometimes it a link, other times the studio would rather not go that route. Ergo, contests.

Best of luck with the radio stations!
