Baltimore Screening Pass-palooza: “The Boss Baby”!

Hey everyone, and happy National Puppy Day!  I’ve got passes for the Baltimore screening of The Boss Baby, and figured why not share it on such a joyous day?  Synopsis!

DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby.  He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby.  The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim.  With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.

Advance comments I’ve heard say that this is actually a really sweet, funny movie.  So are you ready?  Let’s go!

I cringe every time I see a trailer for this movie. I’m not sure I can bring myself to go see it.

RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. But another movie blogger buddy whose taste I respect saw an earlier screening…and said it’s actually quite good, and not like the trailers. It’s actually more of an older-child fantasy kinda thing. So? Perhaps I’ll catch it. But sadly, I can’t make this screening.
