TrailerWatch: “It” reboot promises you’ll float too…

I loved Stephen King’s It. I loved Tim Curry as Pennywise in the 1990 TV adaptation. So I was creeped out in a bad way when I heard that It was going to be re-made. Why mess with perfection, amirite? But this first teaser-trailer for 2017’s It looks like they could be on to something creepy in a good way. Synopsis!

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

There’s lots of floating, lots of The Loser’s Club coming together (and coming unglued), along with a reveal of Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise that is starting to help me get over my first giggle-reaction to his costume and overall look.  This really could work, y’all.  She said hopefully.

It comes for you and your paper sailboats September 8th, 2017.
