Okay, so the Zack Snyder film I’VE been looking forward to has dropped a three minute trailer. And it looks like the zombies are evolving even more than the basics we saw in Land of the Dead. I’m not sure how the revamped zombies will play out – zombie on horseback, anyone? – but gotta admit Dave Bautista and Tig Notaro look badass. Synopsis!

After a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble by venturing into the quarantine zone for the greatest heist ever.

I’ll be checking this one out, because I’m a horrible junkie and Romero universe completist. But right now I’m stoked for the visuals, but not putting much hope for a social commentary ala the original series directed by the master. Cool Suicide Squad-esque poster, and gorgeous cinematography though.
