BRONYCON WELCOMES TONY FLEECS FOR 2018 CONVENTION

(BALTIMORE) – When you’re on the road, it’s important to have familiar places and faces to turn to. It could be a favorite restaurant or a hotel with friendly staff that knows your name.  Today, BronyCon is excited to welcome back one of our familiar faces, IDW artist Tony Fleecs, for our July 27-29 convention!

This will be Fleecs’ 5th straight year attending as a guest. He is best known as an artist on the IDW “My Little Pony” comic book series. Fleecs’ notable works from the series include issues #7-#12 of the “Legends of Magic” series, the “My Little Pony Annuals” in 2013 and 2017, and several “Friends Forever” issues.

In addition to being a guest, Mr. Fleecs has been an important part of BronyCon history. Every year since 2014, he has designed the convention book’s front and back covers. This included an exclusive print in 2015, where the program book cover and a variant cover for issue #32 of the My Little Pony series could be combined together.

Outside of My Little Pony, Fleecs is the creator of Fleecs Design; with clients such as 20th Century Fox, the Milwaukee Brewers, Disney, Taco John’s, and more. He also is the writer and artist behind his autobiographical comic book, My Lifetime, first published in 2006.

To register, visit BronyCon’s registration page. Badges for BronyCon will cost more at the door, so don’t wait! Also make sure you are following BronyCon on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr to be the first to hear our latest announcements.
