TrailerWatch “Black Christmas” 2019 gets some girl power

The original Black Christmas is a horror classic. The 2006 remake? Not so much. But this Blumhouse reboot has my interest piqued. A twist on the killer(s) and the why of it all feels fresh. Not to mention the smarts these new girls are packing. Synopsis!

Hawthorne College is quieting down for the holidays. But as Riley Stone (Imogen Poots, Green Room) and her Mu Kappa Epsilon sisters-athlete Marty (Lily Donoghue, The CW’s Jane the Virgin), rebel Kris (Aleyse Shannon, The CW’s Charmed), and foodie Jesse (Brittany O’Grady, Fox’s Star)-prepare to deck the halls with a series of seasonal parties, a black-masked stalker begins killing sorority women one by one.

Whoever the killer is, he’s about to discover that this generation’s young women aren’t about to be anybody’s victims.

This Black Christmas hits theaters December 13th, 2019.

Right from the auf Deutch version of The Monkee’s “I’m a Believer”, you know you’re in for some tongue-in-cheek fun. But this new trailer for Jojo Rabbit also shows that this film will be addressing lots of heavy stuff too, especially when young Jojo realizes that his mother (Scarlet Johansson) has given shelter to a young Jewish girl…

A zombie movie from the folks that gave us Ticked Off Trannies With Knives? Hell yeah I’m watching this. If you’re a lover of good & goofy homemade horror – and who isn’t? – you’ll have a blast with Dallas.

This film starts with one of my favorite quotes, racking up the points in my book. (Though the film attributes it to Plato, others have been credited with spouting it, including Ian Maclaren, John Watson, and more…but it’s a great quote whoever it originally came from.) TrailerWatch – “American Horror Story: 1984” kicks off Season 9

YESSS! It’s here! It’s here! The first trailer for the 9th season of AHS! And damn y’all. Hair metal, spandex, Aqua Net, and so much more. Looks like it will, in fact, be a summer-camp slasher story, complete with a creepy killer. “Mr. Jingles”? Nope, don’t want to meet that guy.

Bummer there’ll be no no Sarah Paulson or Evan Peters, but I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our game cast! (How much do I adore Leslie Grossman’s winged hair? SO MUCH.)
